Volunteer
We always have projects going on at Camp, whether they be service projects or construction projects. If you have any skills you would like to share with us please contact the Camp Office either by phone or via email.

High School Juniors and Seniors may volunteer for two to six weeks during our summer camping program. The C.I.T. Program gives vital support to the Cabin Counselors and Program Staff and provides an enriching experience for the C.I.T. as they interact with the summer campers.

Donations of Materials or Monetary Sums
If you have some material goods which you feel we can use on a project or for a special group, please contact the Camp Office.

Monetary donations can be designated for special camp funds. For example, a donation to scholarship fund enables you to help send a child from a low income family to summer camp or assist a group of special needs campers in coming to Camp.

The building fund assists with the many updates and continued improvements we are making here at Camp.

Please contact the office if you are interested in designating where your donation will be best utilized.
We Need Your Help for the Long Term

With creative tax and estate planning, you can make substantial contributions to the charities you choose, without reducing the size of your estate. Instead of paying estate taxes and letting the government determine how your money is used, direct it to the work you believe in — like YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer.

We need your help not just today — but also in the future — to make sure we can keep serving all the individuals who gain so much from their camp experience. Check with your estate planner. Make sure you decide where your money will go. Give generously — and make YMCA Camps Spencer & Kon-O-Kwee part of your lasting, meaningful legacy.
You will receive an acknowledgement letter of your donation along with a receipt for the I.R.S. All donations to YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer are tax deductible and can be made in memory or in honor of a person you designate. Contributions can remain confidential at your request.
