Generations of Fun


Mini Camp - ages 7-9
Mini-Camp is designed for the first time camper who may be unsure about committing to an entire week away from home. Campers will have 3 days and 2 nights to get accustomed to the camp experience. Our mini-campers are sure to get a taste of a complete summer camp experience, making friends, having fun and creating memories that will last a lifetime

JUNA(boys) & GENA(girls) ~ ages 7-9
Designed for younger campers, Juna/Gena offers a variety of camp activities. For many campers, this may be their first time away from home. Our counselors are trained to recognize the needs of our campers, build self-esteem, and help campers make new friends. As a parent, you can be sure your child's counselor will oversee his or her group throughout camp to assure consistent guidance.

SENA(boys) & FAWNA(girls) ~ ages 10-11
In Sena/Fawna we help campers discover his or her personal resources and sense of self-worth through participation in a wide variety of challenging yet fun activities. Campers develop confidence in themselves and others as they deepen their individual skill sets in the activities they choose and in the way they interact with one another.

EXPA(m) & LORA(f) ~ age 12-13
Expa/Lora is the ultimate challenge for the seasoned camper. Through exciting activities and increased reliance on group skills, these campers, poised for personal growth, have opportunities to accomplish many challenges set before them. Blending traditional camp activities with a focus on personal development makes Expa/Lora an experience these campers will never forget.


TEEN WILDERNESS~ age 14-15
Participants in our Teen Wilderness program experience a tremendous adventure in group living! After exhaustive teambuilding efforts are completed, the group arrives high atop Mount Davis at our Teen Wilderness Village located at Deer Valley YMCA Family Camp. Filled with hiking, climbing, paddling, swimming, biking, outdoor cooking along with leadership and personal growth lessons, the Teen Wilderness program is not to be missed!

YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer is pleased to introduce our NEW High Adventure Village – A series of trips & adventures designed for campers aged 14 – 17 years of age.


CIT ~ age 16-17
Carefully selected CIT’s are placed in cabins and/or program areas – based on the needs of campers and their personal interests and skill level – to gain firsthand experience as a professional role model. CIT’s must complete a CIT application, attend CIT weekend in the spring, and be available to serve a minimum of four and a maximum of six weeks at camp in addition to full participation in staff training prior to the first week of camp.
