Teen Adventure Campers at least 14 years of age may participate in this Trip during our 2nd and 3rd sessions. The Vagabond Trip is taken in place of the Wilderness Camp held at Deer Valley. Campers backpack for 32 miles along the scenic Laurel Highlands Trip to Ohiopyle.

Following the 5-day hike they participate in a day-long whitewater raft trip on the Youghiogheny River guided by a local rafting company, with assistance from the Kon-O-Kwee Counselors. The Whitewater Trip starts its 7 1/2 mile journey below the Ohiopyle falls.

Campers with medical problems should not participate in this program due to strenuous activity. There is an additional fee for the Vagabond Hiking Trip to cover trip expenses. Please see registration page for additional information.
